Kaliningrad was being supplied its energy from Russia proper through the Baltic States. Western Europe thought that by cutting it off they would (could) supply the Baltics from the West (instead) and leave Kaliningrad hanging. WRONG! :auiqs.jpg:

Great to hear the full story .
The Biters well and truly bitten .
Likely badly mauled, than just bitten .

I suspect Moscow will take it further at the right time because I understand Kalingrad is of key importance to them.
Both in terms of being part of the early defence system, but also in terms of Missile strike capability -- I assume there is at least one underground missile base.
Well worth the video time , 10 minutes , and as ever the two Alex's are top sources .

Two very distinctly opposing consequences over the same issue. We will see how it plays out but the West has been so utterly dishonest about everything pertaining to the fledgling NATO mice against Russia that I am inclined to believe that Putin will emerge smelling like a rose.

I have always thought of Kaliningrad as a liability not worth the effort, but .......
