This, of course, is based on your age, but it's interesting to here from all generations.. and to see what resonated more with who when there's a crossover.

Here's my most notorious/favorite moments that I've witnessed

1. 2008 4x100 Swimming: Jason Lezak (USA) leads a 4th leg comeback from half a body length down to overtake elite Frenchman Alain Bernard to win gold for the team, assisting Michael Phelps' hopes at 7 gold medals.
2. 1996 Gymnastics: Kerri Strug (USA) Plants a vault landing on a clearly injured ankle to heavily elevate the gymnastics team to their first team gold medal.
3. 2008 100m Dash: Phenom Usaine Bolt (JAM) runs 9.69 sec to set the WR and win Gold.

*US swimmers Ryan Lochte, Jimmy Feigen, Gunnar Bentz, and Jack Conger were embroiled in scandal after vandalizing a gas station in Rio and claiming to have been mugged at gunpoint.

*2024 Opening Ceremony
Wet, boring and dull . Full of Deep State propaganda

Breaking News :
Team GB have a medal already . Will we be first again in the medal table -- per '000 population ?

Crazy people say things like Deep State. Is the Deep State the folks who use Jewish Space Lasers to start wildfires?

Hockey....the USA team finally beat Russia and Canada. (They usually got the Gold)

Basketball....again Dream Team with Jordan and etc won.

Same year a classmate girl was an alternate for volleyball team. She didn't play but it still mattered.

1. Nadia Comăneci scoring the first 10 in the Olympics.
2. Joan Benoit winning the 1984 Marathon.
3. Mary Decker being tripped in the 84 Olympics

When someone scores a 10, does that mean that no human can possibly do whatever they did any better? There is no 11.

Basically they did it perfectly. The only way a human can do better is to do a harder element and get a 10 on it.
