It doesn't matter. It's debt. The infrastructure bill delivered also. People can use that excuse to get us into all kinds of debt.
I would argue that space travel is a good investment. There were billions of dollars' worth of spin-offs from just the Apollo program.
Watch. It's mostly the left that buys EV's. Tesla sales are going to into the dumper and Musk is going to be at the White House with his hands out.
That's possible.

I don't care if it's just one guy too lazy to get a job. He should be cut off.
Your attention is directed toward that one guy to divert you from the many billions, possibly trillions, being wasted on the wealthy.

Looks like its working.

Does it? We were talking about welfare for people who don't want to work, not handouts for billionaires.

You don't get to retroactively declare what a conversation is about and then claim I'm ignoring it.

The ENUMERATED POWERS Need to be restored.

Only way to end corruption in DC is to take away their ability to spend as they please.

Then states will manage their affairs locally and not by Freaks from Cali. That way idiotic policies of some states would have no effect on others.

I will ask everyone to leave issues of character and law breaking out of this discussion whether you are anti-Trump or anti-Biden/Harris or are coming from a different direction. Can we keep the trolling and insults to a minimum and concentrate on why we support what we support as actual or proposed policy?

Let's focus for a bit on actual policy and why we support it.
No point in this. Our government is a criminal enterprise. It has been for a long time. It violates every one of the Bill of Rights continuously. Time to eliminate this government and start anew.

I can appreciate the sentiment but I also am a student of history. Most countries who do that have become totalitarian or wind up with a worse mess. The government is not the problem. The Founders gave us the most effective government the world has ever known. It is those in government who are the problem. I say give Trump and his team a chance and support them in every way that we in good conscience can.

I am reminded of a key maxim of management: You cannot fix bad people by changing the system.

Naive in the extreme. We are already living under a tyrannical government. It refuses to abide by the Constitution and violates it everyday. Is this not the definition of a crime?

You're wrong. Factually correct and here's proof:

The U.S. a Christian Nation? Not According to the Founders!

Washington’s friend, the widely heralded polemicist Thomas Paine tried ending the controversy. “I do not believe in…any church,” he declared. In a call to arms against what he called church-state tyranny in early America, he insisted that “every national church or religion accuses the others of unbelief; for my own part, I disbelieve them all.”

Both Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson agreed. President Jefferson denied that Jesus was “a member of the Godhead,” and Benjamin Franklin, a co-author of the Declaration of Independence with Jefferson, decried Christian church services for promoting church memberships instead of “trying to make us good citizens.” An outspoken Deist, Franklin criticized all religions for making “orthodoxy more regarded than virtue.” He insisted that man be judged “not for what we thought but what we did…that we did good to our fellow creatures.”

Most of America’s Founding Fathers echoed Franklin’s beliefs. America’s fourth President, James Madison was raised an Anglican and was a cousin of Virginia’s Episcopal bishop. But he was a fierce proponent of church-state separation and fathered the Bill of Rights, whose opening words outlawed government “establishment of religion” and any prohibition of “the free exercise thereof.” Both Congress and all the states agreed.
