So who do you trust more? Seriously.

Everything that I've heard from officials in the admin is that the people rooting out waste don't have access to any personal data.

That's kind of a hard question to answer. If the DOGE kids have been cleared for national security, I trust them more because employees may have a motivation to keep things hidden in order to Prevent their departments from looking bad.

The same monitoring that happens for the federal employees would apply to the auditors. They all would have to use a login to access the systems. There would be a record of any activity on that profile.

Its hard to "watch" computer geeks.

But as one poster says below all their keystrokes are logged, and access is supposed to be "read only", so there should be no illegal use of information.

That's basically why I posted this thread.

If the DOGE kids were finding a super-well run system with minimal "waste, fraud, and theft" I would say I trust the current employees. But the FACT that DOGE is finding major "waste, fraud, and theft" I'm saying that the DOGE Whiz Kids are the stars of the show. The current employees are either incompetent or criminals.

Remember the initial rollout of Obamacare? It was a "train-wreck", after years and $billions spent.

Obama called in Google programmers and it took them about 2-weeks to re-write the code and get the website to work.
