Why can't i access Emojis?

Been about the last week I can't access the emoji icons. Ever since the update it also seemed cumbersome to get them to come up.
They were much easier to access before this update not requiring a click on a menu first.
I only post from an Android phone.
Anyone else having trouble?

Tried again and I can see the menu but it won't let me open up the emojis. None of the features are working.

You have to select the 3 dot ( more options) icon next to insert image.

Took me five years to figure out how to link videos.
Not the most tech savvy kind of guy.
Haven't really seen anything on site about instructions on exploring and linking things and what some of those icons do. Just kind of have to figure it out.
The new update seems a little jumpy on the Android phone when going into the emojis.
