There are two glaring examples of how EXISTING LAWS are not being enforced and as a result idiots want MORE laws.. more laws that won't be enforced!

More enforcement of Gun laws and less call for more gun laws!!!

How many times have we heard Obama/Democrats saying WE NEED MORE GUN Laws!!!
"We haven't yet done enough to make our communities and our country safer," the president said in his weekly address. "We have to do more to keep dangerous people from getting their hands on a gun so easily. We have to do more to heal troubled minds."

1) Enforcing Gun Laws down under Obama..
Despite his calls for greater gun control, including a new assault weapons ban that extends to handguns,
President Obama's administration has turned away from enforcing gun laws, cutting weapons prosecutions some 40 percent since a high of about 11,000 under former President Bush.

Enrolling people in Medicaid..BEFORE ACA ..
WHY was it necessary to have ACA when all that was needed was to enroll the 14 million people that were eligible BEFORE ACA?

These 14 million were already covered: http://coverageforall.org/pdf/BC-BS_Uninsured-America.pdf
These people told the Census they were uninsured. Census then used that number as part of the 46 million! WRONG!!!
go to the link: http://coverageforall.org/pdf/BC-BS_Uninsured-America.pdf
"Of the 44.7 million non-elderly uninsured individuals identified in the 2004 Census Current Population Survey (CPS) data, nearly one-third — almost 14 million — were reachable through existing government health programs such as Medicaid and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) under current rules.
The Actuarial Research Corporation (ARC) estimates that about 9 million of these individuals actually were enrolled in Medicaid during the year, but were categorized as uninsured in the Census survey.
In the latest Census health insurance report, the Census Bureau acknowledges that the survey “…underreports Medicare and Medicaid coverage compared with enrollment and participation data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).” According to ARC, this “Medicaid undercount” leads to an over-assessment of the uninsured population and needs to be taken into consideration when developing uninsured estimates.
It is important that this issue be resolved so that targeted solutions for the uninsured can be developed based on the most accurate data possible.
So do you understand?? BEFORE ACA Medicaid could have if competent enrolled 14 million people already eligible BUT they were still counted as "uninsured" by the CENSUS..WRONGLY!

These two illustrations of HoW dumb it is to call for MORE rules, regulations, LAWS when the existing ones aren't enforced or followed through!

HOW stupid is it to write these laws and come to find ALL we need do is enforce the ones we have!
NO need for more gun laws... just enforce the ones we have NOW!
NO need for ACA to enroll 14 million ... THEY WERE eligible under PRE-ACA medicaid rules!

Totally stupid!

Implementing new laws is much easier than repealing old ones. Stossel's show on Fox talked about it re: out-dated silly laws still on the books. There are also different ways to effect statutory repeal as with a new law that replaces an older one by way or how it's worded, or a total repeal where no new law is taking its place. The latter method though usually requires public hearings, whereas a new law and technical repeal would not.

If laws don't work, of course write new ones. FUCKING DUUUUUHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The two examples I gave illustrated how the laws weren't enforced.
Gun enforcement is down from when Bush administration.

Using 14 million people as part of the "uninsured" passed MORE laws when all Medicaid needed to do was use the SAME current activities of advertising ACA with the 14 million that all need do is register.. again earlier law was not enforced!
