Trump is an unpopular President....most Americans understand that.

However, Trump's policies are even more unpopular than he is. This means that even some of Trump's most loyal supporters do not like what he is doing right now. Most of these MAGA voters are sticking with him....for now. But that could easily change, especially if the economy collapses.

Trump's approval rating on the economy is already worse than it ever was during his first term. These tariffs are going to be so disastrous for this country that you might even see Republicans in Congress ready to end Trump's presidency. Republicans in Congress are selfish and don't care about Trump's lawlessness and authoritarianism, but they also don't want to see their life savings disappear....which will happen with Trump and these tariffs.

From the Washington Post. --

The Fox News poll showed Trump doing well on border security (+15), but his numbers on foreign policy (-14), the economy (-18), tariffs (-25) and inflation (-26) are all worse than his overall approval rating. His tariff gambit has pushed his economic numbers lower than they ever were in his first term, with concerns being widespread and bipartisan.

To be sure, none of this means Trump’s presidency has failed or will fail. He still enjoys the support of 40-plus percent of Americans, and an approval rating in the low 40s isn’t terribly unusual in this day and age. (It’s where Trump was for much of his first term, and it suggests his base is pretty solidly behind
him.) Trump could seemingly rebound, for example, if he strikes promised trade deals with countries he has used tariffs against, allowing for a ramping down of the trade war.

But perhaps tellingly, Americans are also more negative compared with Trump’s overall numbers when it comes to the major controversies of his second term. Around 6 in 10 have been critical of both his tariffs and Elon Musk’s roughshod efforts to cut government programs and employees. (Most of his major cuts were even more unpopular.)

And more recently, a growing volume of polls suggest Trump is squandering what should be one of his most popular policies: deportations. In a poll this week, Americans said by a nearly 2-to-1 proportion that the Trump administration should abide by a court order to facilitate the return of a man wrongly deported to prison in El Salvador, Kilmar Abrego García — a court order the administration is flouting.

Limited polling also suggests Americans strongly reject the administration sending hundreds of other alleged gang members to the brutal El Salvador prison without due process and Trump’s efforts to deport pro-Palestinian student visa holders.

Leftist wishful thinking. Not surprising, but yet one wonders why they bother publishing their delusions.

Trump is not running for office, and he really doesn't care about his minute-to-minute approval ratings. He is doing EXACTLY what he was elected to do...on the border, in the deep state, in the Armed Forces, with foreign countries, with illegals, with insane Federal spending. Everything is in line with what he promised to do when he was campaigning.

Trump's loyal supporters don't like what he is doing???????????

What cave is this fukker living in? We support EVERYTHING he is doing. Not everything he says - he has a bad case of Blitherer's Disease - but we support everything he and DOGE are doing.

Where is the poll of Trump's supporters that justifies this absurd comment?

Your seem to forget the election is over. Trump is president for almost four more years.

Let’s hope Trump’s poll numbers are bad for Republicans as well in the midterms and beyond.

Trump has no clue what the fuck he is doing....that is plainly obvious.

Trump is going to destroy this country's economy and ruin you financially. And even a hopeless MAGA dumb fuck like you will eventually turn against him.

It's only been 100 days....Lot's of time left....Polls are a mere snapshot....100 days from now they could be totally different....
The polls will be worse 100 days from now as all Americans begin to feel the pain from these tariffs.

The only hope is that some Republicans in Congress finally grow some balls and vote for a new bill ending Trump's tariffs before he destroys the country.

Anything bad for Trump is bad for hard working americans.
Agreed. Trump's insane tariffs will be horrible for working Americans as they lose their jobs and pay much higher prices for everything.

And even hard-core MAGA imbeciles are going to finally say "ENOUGH!!". They don't care that Trump is an authoritarian asshole, but they will care when they have no job and no money left.

Face it -- you voted for your own financial destruction.

Meanwhile democrats have never polled lower with Americans and continue to go lower as more and more americans are awoken to the fact that democrats are traitors working to intentionally collapse America.

Democrats = traitors
Trump is destroying the country....not the Democrats.

And Trump will be blamed for the destruction....not the Democrats.

Agreed. Trump's insane tariffs will be horrible for working Americans as they lose their jobs and pay much higher prices for everything.
Irony is Dr Phosph using the word imbecile or talking about Americans losing jobs while suppirting the democrat's who are responsible

We can quit pretending you care about me and my job when you are fighting for China and the Chinese people.

Oh no! He's not getting re-elected!

If only you knew how meaningless polls are on second-term presidents.

I don't care about you. No pretending is necessary.

I'm simply pointing out to your slow ass that Trump is going to ruin you financially....unless all the Democrats and a bunch of Republicans in Congress team together to stop Trump.

But he should care about midterms because if he loses enough seats in Congress and or the Senate he's not going to be able to get anything done outside of executive orders.

so you support the destruction of the country. Good to know.
