What those on the right consider justifiable investigation and, if warranted, indictment for real crimes, the left calls lawfare.

The right identifies lawfare as those investigated and indicted for manufactured crimes or 'crimes' nobody else on the plant is indicted for, i.e. prosecuted when their only real crime is being among the political opposition.

So whatever harm Fauci did or anybody else pardoned by Biden--whatever REAL crimes were committed, those people get a complete free pass to do untold harm to even millions of people. And the dishonesty contributed to much of that harm.
