Will many government employees quit or retire rather than show up at the office every day?

They're much more likely to quit or retire because of the constant bizarre harassment. Can't say I blame them.

I think having to wake up every morning a fight rush our traffic to the office again may prove too much for some of them

Particularly the ones who can retire

The rush hour traffic thing is utter stupidity. Millions upon millions rushing off to work already frazzled before the day starts. They are slaves in a sense. And we call this "great". Whatever.

when someone has consistently benefited from unearned advantages (privilege), the idea of treating everyone equally can sometimes feel like a personal loss or unfair treatment to them, as they are used to having a superior position.

"constant BIZARRE harassment"
Why is it bizarre, and how is it "harassment" to expect a person to have to do something in order to earn their paycheck? That is taken from other people's paychecks, who ARE required to work,?
Why should government, tax paid people not be required to work?
And don't say they are "working from home". That con is over.

I talked with a friend yesterday that works up on Mt. Weather. His daily commute is around 45 minutes one way. About 2/3 of the trip on country roads.

He hit a deer on the way to work Monday and it did 5K worth of damage to his old beater "work car" Buick that he will pay out of pocket to fix.

He just took it in stride as the cost of working.....Then again he has been going in every day as he's an essential employee.

I told him he should get one of those "cop bumper guards" for the front of it Mad Max style. ;)

A lifetime of working is a wasted life in a sense.

When you've worked for a number of years, gone through the reviews, gotten reviews, had deliverables...they are doing something to earn their paycheck.
Why should government, tax paid people not be required to work?
You're under the impression that government employees don't work? Does your mail get delivered...are your tax returns being processed? Christ man..wake up and smell your own bullshit for a change.

As I expected from you - vapid thin air. Nothing.
You are a green haired socialist who can't make it in life, so this is the kind of response you will give.
