Without tariffs…how do we bring back jobs and groom Americans to buy American made again?

Gosh! So many people hate the evil fuck who attempted to overthrow our democracy!

Go figure!
You wacked-out purple hairs lose a little more credibility every time you scream “OVERTHROW DEMOCRACY” at the sky when all sane people know he simply hoped to protest the election results.

For partisans, politics is a team sport, and loyalty to your team is everything.
My “team” is comprised of American citizens trying to vote their nation into the best position possible.
You wouldn’t understand.
FYI- Referring to a Conservative as a “partisan” is complimentary these days….NO legitimate Republican / Conservative should hope to work with today’s Democrat Party on ANYTHING.

Yes, i saw them. There are, but in the end you still end up with more money, it is not like I would turn down a raise that put me over the threshold

Sure, but one would presumably have to work harder to make that extra money. Do you think that the fact much of it would be taken away would be a disincentive to put forth the extra effort?

WTF….make up your damn mind…Your people keep telling us Trump hi-jacked the Party and established this new MAGA/populist party… dblack says it, g5000 says it. The Cheney’s hate him, the Bush's hate him, permanent Washington hates him…Wake up man!

The one thing Justice Robert's made clear, with his otherwise chickenshit ruling on the ACA's "Individual Shared Responsibility Penalty", is that tax incentives for doing what the government wants are no different than tax penalties (tariffs) for not doing what the government wants. Same difference.

Government shouldn't be "grooming Americans". Period.
All this shit went out the window circa 1930 when America’s best citizens were forced to fund degenerate pieces of dogshit.
Look, 1929 is never coming back…America’s underclass has far too much voting power…let it go bud.

Tariffs are not paid by the people!!! why do you idiots constantly post this fking nonsense. Tariffs are fees into the country and do not affect the people. fk

Jill is for the green deal to take gas engines off the planet. wow.
These people are weird… They consistently tell us how much better a third-party could or would be, but they can never really tell us what policies a third-party could run on and actually have a chance at winning.

fk all these 3rd party idiots, their candidates wouldn't do anything any different than any other bought fking candidate. Trump ain't bought. Ever hear any other candidate talking about the swamp? tells you all you need to know.

What “economic plans” could a third party run on that are desirable, viable and sustainable?

I've not looked at any of their plans since their chance of going anywhere are non-existent. Taking into consideration factors such as regulation, environmental and labor, tariffs will amount to being corporate taxes passed on to consumers pretty much in line with Harris' own bird-brain ideas of socking it to corporate America.

To bring manufacturing back to America I believe politicians should focus on cheap energy. In that regard my view has pretty much disregarded the politicians and have more interest in projects such Bill Gate's liquid sodium Natrium nuclear power plant in Wyoming. Another one that I'm keeping an eye on is ExxonMobil's lithium well in Arkansas.

Will either of these prove successful is still in question. But my belief leans more towards capitalistic solutions over the government's imposing of taxes.

Seems like we're looking at 2 different things here. It's my understanding that a tariff is an import tax. It's something that My paying more, the seller offering for less, or a combo of both. It always results in my paying more for imports than what the seller receives.
