Many years ago, there was a newspaper article where a team went out to teach them how to use condoms. The only trouble was, they used sticks in the demonstration, suffice to say, birth rate didn't fall because the natives put the condoms on sticks.
Plus, not many have TV's, so how else do you fill your time in!!

I fully agree with you. I have posted in the past how INHUMANE it is to offer "humanitarian aid" to these countries without offering contraceptives and/or sterilization. There is no way a dirt poor woman with 2 kids wants more kids. It is the height of cruelty to bring children into that poverty. Many of them die without ever knowing anything but burning pain and hunger.
