Looks like those grocery prices meant more than lefty counted on. Looks like all those repossessed cars stuck in people's guts. Looks like all those past due mortgages are staying in people's minds.
Looks like all of that mounting debt is actually having an effect on people. 74 percent.... That is a powerful number.

I told you all this a month ago and I'm one of the dumbest Canadian in Canada.

Abortion was 6th, I think the climate was 8th or thereabouts.

Economy, immigration, wars in the world, crime are probably all higher in the list of priorities. This is true in any country really.

Some other sites are putting the economy at 35%.... I can't seem to get back to the original article that cited 74% but I can believe it. I am pretty surprised though that abortion didn't rank higher.
I thought for sure abortion would top the list This is a very interesting turn of events.

Except for the single female under 40, abortion is about the only they care about. Maybe I am mis reading the tea leaves on that, time will tell.

Almost all the commercials in MN were about Abortion, or it's new cleaner, less harsh sounding name, "Reproductive Rights".

Funny, since Walz signed the right to abort into law, so not a single woman is losing the ability to get an abortion.
But it keeps the fear of Orange Man alive.

I'm just a little bit stunned but not too surprised. I mean I kept saying that groceries matter but nobody was listening on the other side. Grocery prices have eased a little bit in the past month... But I'm still talking to people in my general circle that a complaining about how difficult it is to actually fill up the fridge and feel safe about a week's groceries in advance.
Then of course they have to plug the refrigerator in which makes the electric bill go up. We are in a very dangerous cost spiral right now.

In fact haven't abortions actually increased since the overturning of roe v Wade?

They have. The dems are trying for a political repeat of 2022 on abortion. one possible difference is its been over 2 years since Dobbs and that did NOT affect any state abortion statutes. The dems LIED about Trump supporting a national abortion ban. So I not sure how that is affecting 2024.

This whole thing reminds me of Sandra Fluke. Her cause was free birth control. She was so convinced that she would be swept into the senate in California she ran for office. Her sole platform was free birth control. No one ever mentions her anymore.

Unfortunately 99% of the mail in ballots that are discovered in closets and parked cars late tues night and wed morning will be for harris/walz

The election is close but the results are predictable

Considering how cheap it is to produce that drug It's probably not a bad idea. And that's probably the reason why it didn't catch on because the pharmaceuticals don't stand to make millions and millions from it allowing their congressional sugar daddies to sweep in and do inside a trading.

Leftists will have to get abortions because they can't afford to feed their kids.
Honestly I'm very ambivalent about the whole thing. There's no question that I'm pro-life but I have never seen the sense of trying to force that position on anyone else. The only thing I object to is being made to pay for something that I didn't do.
The supreme Court correctly took that millstone off of the government's neck and vicariously off of the taxpayers necks.

Actually, no one cared. Or, she thought this was a more important issue than it was and important to more people than it actually was. Like abortion.

And blatant provable lies about Angie Craig's opponent.
