Balance is exactly how capitalism is supposed to work. As a consumer, you have the choice to pay X amount of money for a given product or service and the seller has the choice to set the price he wants. Nobody holds a gun to your head and says you gotta buy whatever it is, and that is true balance. If you think the price is too high you can buy from some other seller at whatever you are willing to pay.

You must be rich, because in 6 years prices will be double what they are now. How many will be living the streets because of the Greed of the ultra rich?

It sounds like you are blaming capitalism for gov't fuckups. The recent surge in inflation was not due to capitalism, it was due to gov't over spending and mismanagement.

There is a distinction between "capitalism" and the free market, free enterprise system which is our system.

The significant feature of “capitalism” is the investment and manipulation of capital to achieve an anticipated profit and/or goal.

In any event, I agree with Thomas Jefferson’s First Annual Message to Congress and his description using the word “free”. ”Agriculture, manufactures, commerce, and navigation, the four pillars of our prosperity, are the most thriving when left most free to individual enterprise.”

True capitalism would have ensured America was the dominant nation for 2000 years. Welcoming in China destroyed this prospect, among other challenges though it is largely self induced.

Humans lived comparable utopia before capitalism.
The hunter/gatherer society is far simpler, easier, and requires less than 2 hours a day, compared to the 10 hours a day we put in.
The main thing primitives did was art, travel, telling stories, etc.
When you want to find the oldest living humans, you do not look in cities, but rural, primitive areas.

The interstate requires constant upkeep, so each new generation pays for it again.
The military has proven worse than useless, but starting lots of illegal and aggressive wars.

Of course. It is real simple...

Socialism works only in a perfect world. Where every member does exactly what they are supposed to do, and all of the leaders are basically perfect angels never abusing their power.

Capitalism works in an imperfect world. Plenty of members can not do what they are supposed to do, and many of the leaders can be corrupt - but it still provides the best possible economic outcome for everyone.

PERIOD.

Socialism is a failed and failed and failed system that has resulted in millions of deaths, grinding poverty and intense power given to extremely small number of people living like kings. - Every single time.

Capitalism is the only system in existence that lifts people out of poverty where the average person is safe, comfortable and well fed.

It is sickening to see how many have been brainwashed and indoctrinated when it comes to "capitalism" vs our free market, free enterprise system.

The word “capitalism” was unknown to our founders. In fact it was used and popularized by Karl Marx to attack a free market system and put it in an evil light. By contrast, our founder’s often describe our system in a manner promoting a free market, free trade, or free enterprise ___ “free” being the operative word. I have never found our founders using the word “capitalism” to describe our system. In fact, the very reason for granting power to Congress to “regulate commerce” among the States was to protect and advance free trade among the States by forbidding one state taxing another state’s exports which passed through its borders. This is further illustrated in Article 1, Section 9 which declares: No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one States over those of another; nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one States, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.

But our progressive/socialist domestic enemies do not like the word “free” being used to describe our economic system because it is hard to attack the word “free” which clearly implies the people are to be “free” to engage in commerce and freely trade with their mutual consent ___ an original inalienable right of mankind. “Capitalism” on the other hand gives great latitude to cast America’s system in an evil light, particularly as a system manipulated by evil “Crony Capitalists”.

Capitalism is just one aspect of our economy. What is rampant is mass advertising, production, and marketing, all driven by easy credit. The rat in the woodpile is accumulated debt, private and public. Also, the hidden inflation of government spending takes its toll.
