Four killed, Seven Wounded in Rockford, IL

"No cash" bail is bail without having to put up any cash to get released.

"Cashless" bail would work too... but that's not what the court system usually calls it.

It a fancy way of saying that they just turn them loose until their court date.

🙄

Or they put up a house title or cds, bonds, cars titles, or whatever in lieu of cash.

They would only have to do that if the bondsman required it to secure a cash bond... which doesn't exist with a "cashless" bond.

It's basically a way for the municipality to reduce the expense of housing a poor criminal until their court date because they have no cash or assets to pay a bond.

They won't say that out loud of course, because they want everyone to believe that they are fighting for justice for the poor and downtrodden, but that's all bullshit.

It's to save money... at the expense of the law abiding citizenry.
