Possibly.Emergency generator exhaust?
You’re clueless. You know nothing. You are obviously not familiar with boats. The rudder is the blade in the water. The tiller is the stick that is attached to the rudder.
Lots of sailboats do not have tiller steering- they have wheel steering that is connected to the rudder post via cables or hydraulics just like any conventional power boat. There are even power boats that use tillers to steer. There is a practical limit to tillers, they are not suitable for large boats.
And some boats have no rudders at all. Outboards, inboard-outboards, jet drives, and azipods point the the propeller or impeller in the desired direction and do not use underwater control surfaces.
Azipods are very common on cruise ships and tugs due to their maneuverability, they can rotate 360 degrees and maneuver the vessel sideways if desired.
As long as the hull is moving forward through the water, the rudder has steering authority. It is not dependent on propeller wash to function.
I know if you have a 40-foot boat it's a dock queen, because you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. You don’t know what you’re talking about and you don’t know that you don’t know.
You’re an idiot. There’s no doubt about that.I know if you have a 40-foot boat it's a dock queen, because you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Those "tiny" tugboats are mostly engine. The have incredible towing and pushing power.
This is why you were duped by The Russia gate nonsense and dozens of other hoaxes, because you took affiliation pride word as gospel, then never questioned who was telling you that junk and what their motive is.Inventing nonsensical conspiracies are not healthy. It didn't take a rocket scientist to determine it wasn't a terrorist attack.
There were easier ways to destroy that bridge which didn't involve known people on the ship.
There were other times during the day to inflict far more casualties had it been a terrorist attack.
They warned authorities they lost control to minimize traffic on the bridge.
They tried to stop the vessel before it struck the bridge.
The entire ship went dark, signaling a catastrophe failure.
Black smoke coming from the ship indicated either a catastrophe failure or a desperate maneuver.
I take it you haven't read thru or listened to any of the links/videos I have provided in this thread. If you had, you would know that there is no chance this was a terrorist attack, intentional hit on the bridge, conspiracy theory, etc. Just as truth outweighs lies, facts rule over conspiracy theories. This was a tragic accident where people lost their lives. Those that are trying to make a name and a few bucks for themselves by outright making up shit up over what happened in the area I live fully deserve all the bad karma headed their way. Before they investigated if anyone caused the ship blackout or if it was accurately true, they made a jump conclusion about it being just an accident which is something you don't do for sake of security but also trust and belief by Joe Public. If there was a blackout, why are there reports that smoke is seen coming out the stack prior to impact? See questions come before conclusions hased on merely being warned ahead of impact.
Those warning impact had not investigated the ships problem, they just were reacting to the situation, how would they know until they Asked questions?
Like I'm raising.
Engine power was not restored. I have provided links in previous posts that give info from the ship's recorders.Possibly.
To me it looked like a huge amount of burning fuel which indicated the engine power was finally restored. It’s a moot point because it happened much too late.
The bridge was the haz-mat route. Indeed: it was the ONLY haz-mat route through Baltimore, the other routes being tunnels. The bridge might not have allowed hazmat trucks across either. In the early seventies when I was stationed at Presidio San Francisco, neither the Golden Gate nor Bay Bridges allowed hazmat loaded trucks across, we had to route trucks all the way around San Francisco Bay and approach the northern side of the Golden Gate from the north east across one of the smaller bridges around Concord. Five miles as the crow flew was well over a hundred as the truck drove.
Rudder may have been over when power went out...? That, and weird tides/currents can make all sorts of weird stuff happen.Once the lights came back on, and smoke began billowing, the vessel looked as if it could have been under its own power again. How does the ship appear to make a slight turn toward the bridge ? Was it under power at that point ?
Smoke was emergency generator running up.A commenter said this on another forum:
The ship makes a hard right turn directly into the bridge support after it regains power.
It was either hacked or deliberately driven into the bridge.
The power (lighting on the ship) goes on and the ship makes a sharp right turn into the bridge support.
Either the captain or harbor pilot deliberately steered into the bridge or the computers and steering on the ship were hacked.,
The ship would have likely missed the bridge support if it didn't turn right.
Notice the smoke coming out of the funnel as it accelerates for the turn and the ramming of the bridge.
In the video you can see a huge plume of smoke coming out of the smoke stack of the ship just seconds before the crash. That shows that they did get the engines started, just too late.
Probably the emergency generator. Going from off to full-power, I have seen several give off HUGE smoke clouds even on what is probably higher-grade low-sulfur diesel than a container ship burns. The plume of smoke coming out of the smoke stack just seconds before the crash indicates that they did get the engines started, but way too late.
Spot on-though of course, it will be much more effective with the engines running. You are obviously not familiar with boats. The rudder is the blade in the water. The tiller is the stick that is attached to the rudder.

I have seen emergency generators blow smoke like that when starting-they go from off to full-power in a split second.Possibly.

Fact: Intel Sources say you are wrong, So it's professional to investigate it's Bidenesque not to.
I’ve seen no evidence to date that trump colluded with Russia in regards to them hacking Democrats. So no, I have not made any such accusation. Like most others, I’m waiting for Mueller to release his report on the matter before I render a judgement on it.
I’ve said all along that I couldn’t say whether or not Trump colluded with Russia until Mueller’s report came out. It’s out and it proves Trump did not collude with Russia.
So? I've said all along I would wait until Mueller's report came out before rendering a judgement of guilt or innocence and I posted Mueller's report exonerated trump after it was released.
You are the clueless one. If propwash is required to steer a boat, explain how a sailboat changes course. You are dead wrong on that point. You’re clueless. You know nothing.
A rudder is very small in relationship to the size the boat or ship. In order for it to steer the vessel it needs water to be forced past it. That means it needs a prop wash.
My boat is 40 foot boat and I have no steering or maneuverability when the engines are not running and transmissions engaged. The principle is the same on a 900 foot ship or an aircraft carrier.
You don’t know what you’re talking about and you don’t know that you don’t know.
A sail boat is not a power boat. Plus I already explained the difference between the rudders on a power boat and a tiller on a sailboat. You are the clueless one. If propwash is required to steer a boat, explain how a sailboat changes course. You are dead wrong on that point.
It doesn’t matter where the smoke came from. Even if it was from restarting the engines. It was too late to avoid the collision. The bridge was the haz-mat route. Indeed: it was the ONLY haz-mat route through Baltimore, the other routes being tunnels.

1. The Dali never regained power. so there goes that stupid theory.A commenter said this on another forum:

And they were traveling much faster than a ship that size should have been traveling.Several commentators on the bridge disaster have described the bridge underpass as 'wide', and enough for two large vessels to pass at the same time. However, looking at the photos of the scene it is obvious that the underpass was not that wide in relation to the ship involved. The bridge looks like a toy compared to the size of the ship. This suggests that such ships should have been escorted by powerful tugboats until they cleared the bridge underpass.
Also, it only took a slight deviation in direction for the ship to hit the bridge. There was little or no room for error.
NO on the tugs. You people are failing to understand that a large ship needs to get enough way on (speed) to be able to maneuver properly. That's the reason why the tugs are left behind as ordered by the ship's pilot.Several commentators on the bridge disaster have described the bridge underpass as 'wide', and enough for two large vessels to pass at the same time. The ship was travelling at the appropriate speed. There has been no hint of American pilots' error. Yet?And they were traveling much faster than a ship that size should have been traveling.
So what?1. The Dali never regained power. so there goes that stupid theory.
2. The ship drifted right because they dropped one anchor to try to stop it, that failed, its too big to stop.
3. I tend to agree that dropping the anchor was a bad idea.
4. The smoke was from trying to start the emergency generators, the engines NEVER started.
