House Republicans Plan to lower debt

That looks good except it is a lie. Once you hit 450,000 and above, you get to use tax breaks to lower your actual tax rate. Yes, you are charged 37% for your adjusted and reported income but in reality, for all your income, you are paying less than 11%. Meanwhile, you Cayman Bank Accounts continue to grow.

House Republicans released their plan for a responsible debt ceiling solution called the Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023
Let's see if Biden ignores or promises to veto, or worse once again lie & claim Republicans have no plan.
the plan:
End the era of reckless Washington spending
Reclaim unspent COVID funds
Defund Biden’s IRS army
Repeal “Green New Deal” tax credits
Prohibit Biden’s student loan giveaway to the wealthy
Strengthen the workforce
Reduce childhood poverty
Prevent executive overreach and restore Article 1
Lower energy costs and utilities
Democrats have proven what can be passed can be repealed / ignored.

I am glad that members of the American Communist Party are urged to vote Democrat. I am a registered Democrat. I have known members of the American Communist Party. I have always liked them. Democratic Socialists of America also urges members to vote Democrat.

Speaking for myself, I do not want the government to own all productive wealth, but I would like for the U.S. economy to move in a socialist direction, with more a more progressive tax system, and universal health care.

Your honesty is refreshing. I find it interesting how many democrats vehemently deny the correlations between the communist agenda and their own. That’s what the phrase “useful idiots” was coined for.

Communism does not prove that democratic socialism does not work. Communism proves that a dictatorship is an inappropriate government for a socialist economy.

Every political system works for some people. Other people? No so much.
Personally, I prefer a system that prioritizes individual liberty and personal responsibility for one’s own choices and actions. Minimal social safety net, difficult to get on, more difficult to remain on.

Good solid plan. Especially defunding the Brandon IRS army. Only ful blown libtards like the idea of that “army.”

Depends upon HOW they plan to accomplish this.
The "unspent" funds will find their way into the pockets of wealthy.

Student loan forgiveness helps the productive members of society. It can be limited to those making under 300k/yr....but otherwise it's a great thing. But also tuition forgiveness should ONLY apply to those working towards MAEST degrees only. Not those getting degrees in acting, circus, or Mideval French Poetry.

Cool story bro. Quick question.
Why did JFK cut taxes?
Kennedy did not cut taxes. Lyndon Johnson did. It was not until Reagan's tax cuts for the rich that the national debt and the national debt as a percentage of gross domestic product began to grow. Now Republicans want to use the national debt for which they are responsible as a reason to cut popular domestic spending programs. Nevertheless, there is little support for specific budget cuts in domestic spending. For years there has been been popular support for a more progressive tax system.

I could and can document each of these assertions. Nevertheless, it is tiresome to keep pushing facts into closed and narrow minds.

Associated Press, NORC, March 29, 2023

Education, health care, Social Security, infrastructure, assistance to the poor, and Medicare top a long list of public policy issues that the public says the government is spending too little on, while two-thirds of the public say the government is overspending on assistance to other countries or foreign aid...

The nationwide poll was conducted March 16-20, 2023 using the AmeriSpeak® Panel, the probability-based panel of NORC at the University of Chicago. Online and telephone interviews using landlines and cell phones were conducted with 1,081 adults. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4.0 percentage points.

Foreign aid is a small percentage of the federal budget. Most Americans want less federal spending "in principle," but there is little support for specific cuts, and popular support for spending more on items the government is already spending lots of money on.

On the other hand, for years there has been popular support for a more progressive tax system.

It was JFKs tax cuts that Johnson passed because JFK was assassinated. Now did tax revenues to the Federal government increase or decrease due to the tax cuts?

Reagan cut taxes for all Americans. Why do you have to lie and pretend he cut taxes for the rich only? Now did tax revenues to the federal government increase or decrease with Reagan’s tax cuts?

Like I said -

America's national debt

There should be a law to leave balanced books and lower debt.

Tax revenue increased after Johnson's tax cuts at about the same rate tax revenue increased every year prior to the tax cuts.

During the Reagan administration the top tax rate declined from 70% to 28%.

The following chart, which I have already posted demonstrates that most Americans did not benefit from Reagan's tax cuts.

The following website, which I have also posted previously, shows that during Reagan's eight years in office the national debt rose from $908 billion to $2,602 billion. The national debt as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) rose from 32% to 50%.

How am I mistaken? The facts do not change. It gets tiresome to keep pushing facts into closed and narrow minds.

All you seem capable of is repeating Republican cliches that I have disproved with facts I document. Paul Krugman calls those cliches "zombie arguments."
