Good!

Why is Jack Smith, an inveterate leaker, so desirous of hiding other things? Sunshine is the best disinfectant.

When Smith asked for an early trial date and was denied, he almost immediately put forth a superseding indictment. Judges do not like such shenanigans.

The judge also asked for prosecutors to provide additional information about the continuing use of an out-of-state jury in the case.

A federal judge dealt several blows Monday to Special Counsel Jack Smith's prosecution of former President Donald Trump for his alleged mishandling of classified documents.
U.S. Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, denied the Justice Department's request to keep fillings sealed in the case and she removed two from the record.
She also asked for prosecutors to provide additional information about the continuing use of an out-of-state jury in the case.
You can read the court ruling here:
File
The special counsel asked for some materials in the case to be sealed from the public, but Cannon wrote in her brief that the agency's arguments "fail to satisfy the burden of establishing a sufficient legal or factual basis to warrant sealing."

With all the evidence Jack Smith could die and do the trial Weekend at Bernie's style and still get Trump tossed in prison

Judge Cannon has the right to do these things. I don't want to be that guy, that says that none of this has any bearing on the trial.

IF P01135809 is as innocent as you believe, then you should welcome a speedy trial, as should he.

P01135809 should welcome the speedy trial. IF he is as innocent as he claims he would NOT want the trial delayed.

Why wouldn't Grifty be eager to put his hand on the bible, take the oath and smite his enemies with Truthy Things?

Exactly. P01135809 keeps profess his innocence, IF he is innocent he should welcome speedy trial.

I would that MAGA would welcome a speedy trial as well, their orange god proven innocent in court. Wwith 91-Separate counts, they should be demaning a speedy trial. They their hero proven innocent, that is way to do it, in court.

IF the prosecution’s case is so strong, they should have no objection whatsoever to Trump being given as much time to investigate their charges and prepare a defense as the prosecution took to investigate and prepare their prosecution.

IF Bidenomics has made our economy so great, and Biden’s flood if illegal immigrants is making it better every day, such that he is a shoe-in to win the election against Trump, the DNC/DOJ need not be in such a hurry to get Trump convicted before the election even takes place.

Correct, the right to a speedy trial belongs to the individual, trump, If he and his lawyers want to exercise that right they can, if they want more time to investigate the accusations and discovery produced by the Govt they should be allowed to. It a case in which the xiden admin took years to bring there are years worth of work to review.

No, child...that is not how it works.....for anyone.

Court time is a resource which has to be allocated. There are other Americans who need to plead their cases.

Has nothing to do with “court time.” If anyone really believes that Trump is guilty, they would want him to be allowed as much time as he needs to prepare his case. While he is doing that “court time” can be spent on other cases in which the defense has already been allowed sufficient time.

The reason you should want Trump to have time is that if he is rushed to judgement after the prosecutor was allowed to set their own timeline in building their case, it might be seen as just another Democrat political dirty trick. Wouldn’t want that, would you?

Not to worry. The judges will give Trump the time he needs, or if not, Trump will win on appeal. Even if he has to appeal all the way to the Supreme Court. Even you are not too dumb to know what will happen then, are you?

The matter of his guilt will be deterimined in a court of law.

He is, in the eyes of the law, just another defendant.

Who is "they"?

The court proceeds on the assumption that he is innocent.

Correct. So there is no reason to rush the case to meet an election-based timeline.

As the post made very clear “they” are anyone who believes Trump is guilty.

If the court proceeds on the assumption that he is innocent, they will give the defense the time Trump needs to prepare his defense. Innocent, guilty, or uncertain, Trump should be given time to prepare a defense. The only reason to oppose that is, “but, but, we have an election to cancel!”

SCOTUS disagrees with you.

It's not being rushed.

"They" have nothing to do with the proceedings or their scheduling.

they will give the defense the time Trump needs to prepare his defense

"They" aren't involved.

Grifty is getting more time than defendant's facing far weightier consequences.

Is Grifty going to decide how much time he needs?
