So far I have identified two ex-Guantánamo detainees of Moroccan origin fighting in Syria under the banner of Harakat Sham al-Islam: namely, Abu Hamza al-Maghrebi (Mohammed al-‘Alami) and Abu Ahmad al-Muhajir (Ibrahim bin Shakaran).

The latter is the leader of Harakat Sham al-Islam: a Moroccan-led mujahideen group operating primarily in Latakia and Aleppo governorates. The group recently played a role in the capture of al-Kindi hospital from regime forces alongside Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic Front

Lets hope for the best------that ALL the released murdering pigs engage in
murdering EACH OTHER rather than us I support the release of ALL imprisoned
arab/muslims in Israel -----to Gaza. where they can be lauded heros and handed
all the wealth of that land and continue that which they do best------KILLING PEOPLE

Why do you call him a terrorist?

He is fighting for the freedom of the Syrian people from the brutal dictator Assad. ....
I agree, if he is indeed fighting for the Rebels, then he is putting his energy to good use. I guess this could be a case where incarceration does lead to rehabilitation of the criminal (or in this case terrorist).

Sunni-----you may be right-----when Iraqi shiites tie bombs to the asses of
their daughters in order to blow the brains out of sunni children at weddings----
maybe it is wrong to call them "terrorists" ------maybe they should be called
SOCIAL WELFARE WORKERS. They are working for SHIITE MAJORITY RULE

What do you call sunni pakistanis who blow the brains out of shiites in drive-bys
in your mosque?

He was released from Guantánamo with no terrorist charges filed against him..

ie. He never was a terrorist in the first place. .....

that's nice-----and he is not a terrorist now-------so long as he sticks to
murdering his fellow muslims. The taliban are not terrrorists either ---

sometimes Al queida is not terrorist too. Sadaam was mostly not a
terrorist------he just murdered lots and lots of kurds (sunnis) and shiites

I guess you didn't notice that the article was written by an Arab man who no doubt knows more what he is talking about than you do. However, if you feel he is not a terrorist, why not fly over there and join him in his endeavors?

Sunni Man is just showing us what a good Muslim convert he is, and Nrs, Sherri, being a terrorist supporter herself, always loves what he says.

Sunni doesn't know much about Islam, he just converted to it because it allows a man to marry four wives. Even if secretly.

yes----they are both EXULTING over the holy murder of tens of thousands of babies
in Syria------by the RESPECTIVE FREEDOM FIGHTERS IN THE NAME OF ISA/ALLAH

but -----sherri is always supportive of the ASSAD camp-----and sunni---seems to
repudiate Assad......sorta. Perhaps we should make sure that they do not
PHYSICALLY encounter each other
