I’ve little doubt this jury will convict him, and it will go to appeal and likely be overturned, but conviction really isn’t the point of this trial, it’s keeping Trump from the campaign trail. Why else would Bragg, after having previously passing this up, after federal prosecutors passed it up, after several NY attorneys have said his case is flimsy, after various news sites have said his case is flimsy, why would he still go through this? He knows there’s a very good chance he will lose and if he wins it will be overturned.

I freely admit Clinton did bad shit. What he didn't do was break any serious laws in the process. (Sorry, perjury in a bullshit lawsuit in a non-germaine issue isn't a big deal.)

Clinton hasn't been president in 24 years. He's not coming back any time soon, so I don't worry about him that much.

I do worry that Trump wants to get back into power and is threatening "revenge" against all his "enemies".
