On May 8, the UN's Office for the Coordination of Human Affairs (OCHA) posted revised casualty figures for the Gaza war, without a press release.
The new figures reduce child deaths from more than 14,500 to 7,797; women's deaths from over 9,500 to 4,959 - a reduction by half. The new figures claim men's deaths at 10,000.
