So, once a week I try to get in at least one 24 hour fast. The rest of the week is usually some form of protein and massive amounts of vegetables (other than special occasions).
What I find interesting is that often eating again after the 24 hours is difficult. Long, long, long ago when I would cut hard weight I would always be famished. Now my body seems to get into "no food" mode and wants to stay there. I power through and soon all is well, but it is an interesting development.
