4-year-old girl who receives medical treatment in US could die if deported, lawyer says

This is not related to "trump deports 4 year old with stage four cancer."

Send the child home to die. That is not in "good spirit" and it certainly does not represent the America I support. They came to the USA legally, albeit on "parole". No evidence the "parole was violated".
CHLA heavily relies on donations from individuals, families, and foundations to support its mission of providing specialized pediatric care. The USA is so much better than this. why? Any decent human does not impose a death sentence on a 4-year-old child.

Sofia began receiving life-saving medical treatment for this condition at Children's Hospital Los Angeles when she and her parents crossed the border from Mexico in 2023 on humanitarian parole, Sofia's lawyers said.

Sofia's medical care, which consists of her receiving specialized IV treatments for up to 14 hours a day, can only be administered in the United States, per the equipment manufacturer, her lawyers said.

The family's lawyers said Sofia's mother, Deysi Vargas, has received three letters from DHS saying her humanitarian parole is being terminated.

"It is time for you to leave the United States," one of the letters, dated April 11, stated. The letter went on to say, "If you do not depart the United States immediately you will be subject to potential law enforcement actions that will result in your removal from the United States -- unless you have otherwise obtained a lawful basis to remain here."

I agree with you and think they should allow them to stay to save their daughter.

We have the ability to save her life and I think we should.

See, there ARE exceptions to every rule. I still think illegal immigration is wrong, but at the same time, we can't sentence people to death like that.

The leftist hypocrisy is glaring. They don’t support this version of America but they didn’t bother speaking up when Biden opened the border for all to allow criminals to roam freely in this country.

How many more dead Americans at the hands of illegal aliens until leftists say enough is enough?

And scenarios such as this should never happen. This family has enough to deal with. Yes, illegal immigration is wrong.

So you're a liar as well as a flamer!!

But the department said that the family’s application for humanitarian parole was “still being considered” in a statement to The Independent.

“Any reporting that Vargas and her family are actively being deported are FALSE,” the official said. “This family applied with USCIS for humanitarian parole on May 14, 2025, and the application is still being considered.”

I didn't say they weren't but their status is about to expire. Humanitarian paroles are given for a specific time frame.

Here's the thing, daily you prove you are clueless on the topic.

Why didn't they do anything over the past two years? Why did they wait til they got notice to try and rush things?
No, her posts are DISHONEST.

excuse me

The family of a critically ill Mexican girl who “could die within days” if her treatment is paused fears they could be deported after the Trump administration prematurely revoked her humanitarian parole, their lawyers said.
Well good thing they aren’t, hence why they gave them notice it was expiring

Who’s imposing the death sentence? I nor did anyone in the United States get her sick.

Frankly, we have given her humanitarian parole to get treatment and time for her family to get whatever they need and even longer parole

Her parents haven’t done it, that’s on them

You're a propagandist, in the mold of Goebbels.
Your are an excrement, in the mold of a bowl movement with corn chunks visible.
You obviously have no compassion. This 4 year old had "humanitarian parole" and her treatments were administered at a hospital that was by donations. This should have never happened. Obviously you find this amusing.

MAGAs find death amusing.

I have a number of questions about this. First of all how did she get here and get to the age she was before she got treatment here? What does her family do? Do they work? Get SNAP or other benefits? Why is she unable to get treatment in Mexico, is it because Mexico wants her to die?

Do not try and pretend that I am part of either of the political cults.
