1. The First Amendment affirms the natural law principle that
collective govt can neither "ESTABLISH nor PROHIBIT" the
free exercise of religion/beliefs that are innately the free choice of INDIVIDUALS.

AMENDMENT I.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

2. The FOURTEENTH Amendment extended the equal protection of the laws
to apply to STATE JURISDICTION (not just Congress/Federal Govt)
