Trump claimed when slapped the first set of new tariffs on China last week, that he would soon get a call from Jinping, like other countries started doing.

He didn't get a call and then Trump canceled a meeting with Chinese trade officials. He was still figuring that Xi would call. But it didn't happen. All it started was an escalating poker game where each side raised the stakes.

China is calling Trump a laughing stock. Trump is now going to have even more to make him angry. What happens when is angry? He raises the tariff again.

And the losing streak continues. Nobody is afraid of Trump, and nobody is calling to kiss his ass. He's a total joke around the world.

That sound you hear is the entire world economy shifting towards the Chinese economy for goods and services, as well as goods. Once that shift is complete, it will permanently hurt the American economy, and red states will suffer the worst.

Oh, and I mention China just imposed a ban on all US LNG imports, and tankers are now just sitting in the Pacific with nowhere to go?

Trump claimed...
^^^ Well, there you go.

I don't know how this will turn out, but Trump thinks he has the upper hand on Xi.

Meanwhile, Xi is sitting on top of enough Treasury Bonds to fuck us up.

I wonder if Trump even knows how that works.

Why do you hate America and love slave labor and people thrown in prison for speech?

It is unlikely he knows or cares. It is not his money, but the country's money. He has a golden parachute, and will remain personally wealthy, no matter what. He has bailed on investors, taking the profits of his work? at least 6 times, before. But, MAGA knew this and elected him anyway. So, here is what we get.

.

Gee, what's he doing in the White House then?

.
Good question!

Should China dump all of it's USA bonds, we'll be in deep doo-doo. Then They'll cut off shipping rare earth minerals to us, at which point we'll have to conquer Greenland by military force. That won't look good for the no wars president.

China has been screwing us over on multiple fronts (trade, military, intelligence) for decades. They're not a friendly nation and while Trump's global economic policies are foolish and will ultimately damage our nation in the long run, I'm not sure why you're so content with cozying up to the leader of the Communist Party of what is essentially a dangerous enemy nation. You can oppose China for obvious reasons and still have legitimate complaints with our own nation's leader. The fact you take so much glee in a monster like Xi Jinping "owning" Donald Trump tells us everything we need to know about you and your motives.

You mean like magats cozying up to Putin for the last 10 years?

Like that?

What hurts Trump, doesn't necessarily hurt America.

America is not Trump. He doesn't have the support of a majority of America.

Trump is doing nothing in regard to our economic relationship with China. He is in a no win situation. The Chinese Communist Party will never make a deal with Trump, much less bow to any demands. That's not going to happen.

On the otherhand, the rest of the world isn't going to bow to him either, and it's much easier to enter more friendly trade relations with China, than to continue playing stupid games with Trump.

The rest of the world can easily wait out Trump over the next four years, and renegotiate trade terms with another administration.

Contrary to popular belief, Trump isn't dealing from a position of strength.

You are completely DELUSIONAL.
Damn.

Trump should be impeached 27 times.

Every single thing he does is 100% the wrong thing to do and every thing he says is 100% a lie.

Joe Biden did 100% everything perfectly and he never once lied.

Trump believes the earth is round. Is it?

Its pretty weird that youre rooting for China. If it was 1942 and Trump was in charge, youd be rooting for Hitler. Like i said, its fuckin weird. :cuckoo:

China would be in deep shit too if they did that. They cant just dump a shitload of bonds without losing a tremendous amount of money.

Dump doesn't mean throw them away in this case. It means sell them.
