Rumor Has it Fisker Automotive May File for Bankruptcy | Inhabitat - Sustainable Design Innovation, Eco Architecture, Green Building

Several news organizations are reporting that the U.S. government-backed electric vehicle company Fisker Automotive is seeking counsel from a law firm that specializes in bankruptcy proceedings. The company produces luxury electric vehicles popular with celebrities such as Leonardo Di Caprio and Justin Bieber, and it received a $529 million loan from the Department of Energy.

It was all about spending 529 million dollars, with a hefty kickback of funds. Democrats have got a very sweet deal going. Grants and loans to failures, get a chuck of those taxpayer funds back as donations and then the company goes belly up.

It's the "Producers" in real life, except with no success.

Another Obama failure... There are so many I can't keep track anymore.

Freaking idiots.

Why do you think the federal government "backs" highly risky endeavors that push the envelope in terms of technology, design, and innovation?

Answer:

(1) They are high risk investments,
(2) The benefits are potentially great, and
(3) Private investors are too insecure about exposing themselves to risk.

So, YES, some of these federally-backed projects FAIL.

You people are freaking idiots. This shit shows up daily in the Drudge Report, along with Obama's vacation news. No wonder you fuckers can't win elections anymore.

Keep up the good work!

One would think that you would perfect a technology before starting a business based upon that technology. And others are freaking idiots???? :cuckoo:

Found it....guess things are falling through

Other companies previously reported to be in talks with Fisker, including Geely Holding Group, the Chinese company that owns Volvo, and Wanxiang Group Corp., a Chinese company that recently bought A123 Systems out of bankruptcy, don’t appear to be advancing.
As potential investors back away, Fisker retains bankruptcy law firm | South China Morning Post

Barry's other Soviet crony socialist deals all of whom were his bundlers too, oddly!!:

Yes, and he is sweating bullets [ uh, is it okay to use that word? :lmao: ] on his popularity, too.

A new CNN/ORC International poll found President Obama's overall approval rating has ticked up to 51 [ ] percent but ratings have fallen on his handling of the key issues on his agenda: immigration, guns, and the deficit.

On immigration, 44 percent approve of the way he is handling the issue, down from 51 percent in January. At the same time, disapproval has jumped to 50 percent, up from 43 percent in January.

On guns, 45 percent approve and 52 percent disapprove, the poll found. In January, 46 percent approved and 49 percent disapproved.
