When I was in college and could stand to be in the same room with the Zionist student group Hillel, They often said the reason they didn't kill Arafat was their biggest worry was he'd be replaced with a well-spoken, Western educated guy who could advocate for Palestine of TV.

The people in Gaza are actually Egyptians - as they are on land that was Egypt before it launched an attack against Israel in an effort to destroy it, and of course lost. Thus, considering Egypt stole the land, homes, and all assets of all the Jews living in Egypt when they expelled them, Egypt should take back the Gazans and Israel take over that land.
