If you want to own a .45 Thompson, you have to pass certain qualifications. That has been ruled Constitutional. The same rules can be applied to semi-automatic weapons. And they will be Constitutional. The background checks have been ruled Constitutional. As will be more stringent background checks. Same for waiting periods.

If the present slaughter in the US continues, then these things will happen.
