Artifacts reveal Amelia Earhart survived as castaway on remote Pacific island

Interesting story and one would hope it solves the mystery.

It says they found remains on the island.

Wonder if there is any way to prove they are Earharts??

If it's true how far could the airplane have gotten once swept into the ocean? You'd think it or what's left of it wouldn't be that hard to find.

This is old stuff from an"investigative" team looking for funding. A couple of years ago the spokesman held up a piece of aircraft recovered in the same area and declared positively that it was from Earhart's plane. A month later he admitted that it was a different type of plane lost during WW2. I saw the Nat-Geo documentary where they found bird bones and scraping tools and glass and a pocket knife (of the type etc) and the evidence proves nothing. Perhaps the same "scientists" are working on global warming.
