Nine have been hospitalized so far. If only they had been vaccinated.

At least 24 cases of measles have been detected in Gaines County, Texas, the state’s Department of State Health Services (DSHS) said this week as it warned that additional cases were likely given the highly infectious nature of the disease.

None of the 24 infected individuals had been immunized with the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine, the health authority said. Two of them are adults, and the other 22 are children. Nine patients were hospitalized.

U.S. vaccination rates for measles have fallen in recent years and continue to decrease, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Experts say measles outbreaks in recent years are linked to an increase in the number of parents seeking exemptions from childhood vaccinations following political backlash to coronavirus restrictions and rampant misinformation about vaccine safety, The Washington Post has reported.

The Dumbass parents should have had their kid vaccinate against Measles, Mumps, Rubella long before they started school or daycare, for that matter.
I agree with this, but, I don't think it should be mandated by government to force the issue.

Fine. Hopefully, your kids or grandkids won't be infected by any of these diseases that protect them, you and society from spreading mass infections. The only control that should be in place, is the little unprotected disease vector kids should not be allowed in government funded public schools, to infect others.

Let's go back in time to measles outbreaks....fine idea.

No kids, no grandkids, White.
The parents pay taxes that help fund those 'public schools' also.
Still shouldn't be forced by the federal government, I thought lessons
were learned by that disastrous 'vaccine' for COVID. That was all about a study
in compliance more than it was a vaccine for COVID. Go Fauci!

This lesson was learned 50 years before covid, when measles was wiped out in this country.

Not seeing where there are government mandates, just that its literally stupid not to get a measles vaccine.
