Despite the dwarf Putin's snarling threats at Trump hitting Assad, the word is he begged the US to limit it's strikes so he wouldn't lose face in Russia. Trump, ever the negotiator, agreed as long as Putin cooperated in forging a lasting peace in Syria with Assad gone. As to the promised "response", the Ivans beat it out of the Syrian harbor they're using and didn't fire a single rocket at the incoming Tomahawks and various French and Brit munitions. Poor lil Pooty....all talk, no balls.

Further...as to the leftist America-hating trash here claiming Russian AA fire, given Syria back in the 60's and 70's, hit our missiles is absurd. While it's possible they got in a lucky shot firing hundreds of rounds, not more than a couple Tomahawks were intercepted, and their package exploded on impact. So anything the Syrians might have knocked down just blew up something else.
