That's how Trump got elected. His core MAGA supporters were never enough to get him back into the white house. He needed independents and even democrats to vote for him. And he did so by making a lot of promises to a lot of people.
Immigration, taxes, inflation. Trump promised to fix all of that very quickly.
So people voted their pocketbooks.
So it's reasonable for them to expect at least half of Trump's promises.

Trump can indeed launch the program on Day 1 but I don't expect some kind of mass round-up and march to the border that day.....Nobody with any common sense does.....Sort of leaves your ilk out though.
