Agreed. Different rules for different ball parks (which was the current model) is just about the dumbest thing ever. The universal DH is probably a good idea.

No, that's you.Are you on some sort of mind-altering chemicals?
The alternatives are what? Different rules in different ballparks or getting rid of the DH all together? No, that's you.
This isn't an argument for or against what they did but why did they HAVE to? They didnt for how many years now?Are you on some sort of mind-altering chemicals?

Leagues have had different rules for 40+ years. Your statement was incorrect and idiotic. The alternatives are what? Different rules in different ballparks or getting rid of the DH all together?
Take a hit of whatever you're on and try to answer with more than just one sentence if you're capable.
The DH is fertile ground for dispute. I like it because, generally, making pitchers try to hit is just a waste of time. (Ohtani and the Babe notwithstanding.)Nobody wants to see pitchers try to hit.
The shift is playing within the rules but the cure for it shouldn’t be to outlaw it. The cure should be learning how to hit against it. Make the defense pay by making bunting practice obligatory.
That is what MLB seems to be approachingI’d like to see the elimination of the Central Division and those teams divided up between the East and West. During the regular season, the East plays the East and the West plays the West. Only during the playoffs do the East and West meet and the winner goes on to the World Series.
They are going to play every team next year like the NBA East - West league. That, and elimination of Inter League play.

I like it. I am not seeing it being "biased," or anything. Games do not continue because each team keeps making a run. The games continue because neither team seems to score on the advantage.Pitch clock? Good idea.
Ghost runners in extra innings? I can’t hate on it enough. Thankfully, I believe it’s scheduled demise is already coming.
Yeah...not happy about that.Changes for next year…
DH in the National League- After 50 years of making the Pitcher hit, they have finally sold out
Pitch Clock- i approve
Make bases a half inch wider- Who cares?
Ban Shift- Why not ban the Curve Ball to help batters who can’t hit it?
micky mantle would have loved the DH....players who are older but can still hit make great DHers.....Nobody wants to see a player who sits on the bench the whole game looking for a few at bats
Play both sides
