Ben Carson is a Conservative Republican.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 18, 1951. His mother, though undereducated herself, pushed her sons to read and to believe in themselves. Carson went from being a poor student to receiving honors and he eventually attended medical school. As a doctor, he became the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital at age 33, and became famous for his ground-breaking work separating conjoined twins.

So far he is Mr. Thank God for Dead Vets, and Legal Abortion is the same as Human Sacrifice. Please, for the love of God, run him. I like winning...

But he's not a "real" black man. He's not a liberal.

But he grew up in the mean streets of Detroit, and he isn't a "gangsta" or a phony "reverend".

But he has a track record of success in his personal and professional life.

But he believes in the sanctity of human life.

This is a good start as to why the liberals already hate him.

Hate him? So far the good doctor is terrific, a token who shoots his mouth off and doesn't understand politics. If we didn't pick him ourselves, we should have.

A Token now that is a racist term that you don't here idiots using much any more.

I'm pretty sure Carson won't run. He saw how viciously the other Republican candidates destroyed Herman Cain when Cain forgot his proper place in the Republican hierarchy.

Ben Carson is a Conservative Republican.

And as such he would fill his administration with conservative republicans, many of whom from the GWB administration, the same conservative republicans who squandered a budget surplus, expanded the size and power of government, and started two illegal, failed wars.

The same conservative republicans who would seek to place judges and justices on Federal benches hostile to citizens' civil liberties.

Given the record of the previous administration, and that of House republicans, there's little reason – if any – to vote for Ben Carson, a conservative republican.

Doesn't matter

Republicans will never elect a black president

The Tea Party would.....and there's many more of them than you think there is.

There is no 'tea party,' the 'tea party' is made up of republicans who are just more ignorant and more extreme than mainstream republicans.

Consequently no, mainstream and 'tea party' republicans would not nominate an African-American as a presidential candidate.

Funny coming from a Obama supporter, he makes Bush looks conservative. Obama will be known as the worst president in history.
