Watched the series Band of Brothers for the first time. Simply outstanding.

American Hustle and Dallas Buyers club were excellent.

Honestly, I went to God is not dead with high hopes. Didn't care for it. I find movies where people smile when, honestly they shouldn't, a deal killer.

Honestly, I went to God is not dead with high hopes. Didn't care for it. I find movies where people smile when, honestly they shouldn't, a deal killer.

Band of Brothers is outstanding. I own the DVD set. The acting in God's not Dead is not stellar. It's not a film in the same league as the others I listed. It's a low-budget Christian film, but the production value was solid. I liked it for the philosophic and theological issues it tackled.

The only problem, Jake, is that I don't have cable, no TV at all. We just do music and films in our entertainment room.

My most favorite film is one that I saw for the first time back in January named Lifted which was released in 2010.
