CHICAGO—This city’s police officers have been warned of the increasing use by gang members of rifles able to pierce police body armor, after a spate of shootings with assault-style weapons.

On Sunday, two men armed with assault-style rifles shot 10 people, police said. The victims, two of whom died, were attending a memorial for a person shot and killed that day in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the southwest side.

Elections have consequences, and stupid fuckers who keep voting for the liberal mayor and governor, deserve all the misery that liberalism brings.

Gangs run gun pipeline from Delta to Chicago

Gang experts say street gangs are more deeply ingrained in neighborhood culture in Chicago than elsewhere in urban America. Always a major center of drug trafficking, Chicago has supplanted Los Angeles as the primary distribution center of narcotics for the middle of the country, federal officials say.

And there are indications that more illegal guns are here than in any other city. In 2003, Chicago police seized 10,033 guns, while Los Angeles police recovered 6,985 guns and New York police recovered just 3,981 guns. Of the 598 murders in 2003, 80 percent were shootings.
