My brother thinks Jahmyr Gibbs is better than Barry Sanders. He got 1400 yards last year in his 2nd year. Barry used to get tackled for a loss a lot. Lose 5 yards, lose 3 yards, lose 1 yard, then suddenly he'd break one for 60. Jahmyr Gibbs runs forward. Doesn't get tackled for losses. Looking forward to seeing him play next year.

I'm not going to argue too much against Barry. Yes he suffered because he had a shitty offensive line. But he was also sometimes too cute and would run backwards 10 yards and a lot of times it didn't work out. But sometimes he'd run 10 yards back and turn it into a 30 yard game. No doubt Barry is top 5 running backs all time. Gibbs only 2 years in. But he got 1400 yards. That's pretty freaking good. Maybe he'll get 2000 next year.

Barry ran too much side to side. If you add up the yards he ran left to right or right to left, he has the most rushing yards. LOL

On almost every level, the Eagles are better. They have at least an equal pass rush and pass defense as the Chiefs defense, Carter is just as disruptive as Chris Jones, the Eagles offense has a better running game and their WR's and are better than the Chiefs. Goedert a good TE, but no Kelce. Their defensive scheme is so much improved with Vic Fangio coaching it, some call him the OG, and he is the equal of Spags, but without the rings.

The Chiefs are far better in the two most important positions on Sunday, head coach and quarterback, and that's why I am not taking 1.5 points with such a talented offense and at least as good a defense as the Chiefs have, but in the 4th quarter, do you trust Hurts enough to make up the deficit if they find themselves trailing?

The Chiefs are actually more comfortable playing from behind in big games, some teams are like that, the Patriots were, and remember, they won most of their early Super Bowls by a FG, and they pulled off the greatest comeback ever against the Falcons.

Can't bet against Reid and Mahomes, even though the Eagles have a team that could outscore these Chiefs this year.

It was sometime in the middle of the first quarter I believe,if you go back and watch thst Super Bowl,you will clearly see how the refs totally blew a call and took a touchdown away from the chiefs.

Hurts completed a pass to one of his wide receivers and even though the receiver clearly had possession of the ball for over 5 seconds and both feet on the ground and began to start running,it was knocked loose by one of the chiefs defenders and he fumbled the ball and one of the chiefs players ran it back fir a touchdown.the refs then took the touchdown away from the chiefs saying it was an incomplete pass of course despite the fact he clearly had control over the ball.the announcers could not believe the blown call either.

Oh and I don’t ever remember brady getting shoved in the throut right in front of the referee two feet away from him and no yellow flag being thrown.

This was done years ago. Timeouts became longer and the game were lasting longer. And they do last longer anyway. I believe they run the clock more when they use to stop. some years ago, I read where each team has up to several less plays a game than in decades past. Validity. There are articles on it.

I looked and in 2003 highest play count was 66 lowest 58. In 2024 highest was 66 lowest 56. I don’t think there is a significant decrease in plays. Teams throw the ball far more now than in the past which inevitably leads to more clock stoppages.

Who watched the replay of the Chiefs Eagles SB? There is a reason that people are saying the Chiefs get all the calls, it was evident with 1:48 remaining in a tie game and on a 3rd and 8 the Chiefs didn't convert and they called a complete bullshit holding call on Ray Bradberry against JuJu Smith-Schuster which would have forced a FG attempt by the Chiefs from the 20 and given the Eagles a chance to tie or win with almost 2:00 remaining.

Hope they don't get jobbed again.
