To be fair, the Chinese economy was beginning to falter prior to the implementation of tariffs on their predatory trade practices. However, this is just one datum in a growing database of information that the tariffs are working to put a hurting on the Chinese government while encouraging manufacturing to return to the US.

It doesn't help when Democrats are actively telling our enemies not to "give in to Trump" tactics.

That is treason in My opinion.

Then went to a former Soviet Bloc nation still somewhat communist for a 2 year stint trying to naturalize enough to become an immigrant.

He came back a changed man. He became a total capitalist. Believed we needed to gulag the democrats and execute their leaders for lying and subverting our democracy. When I asked him about China and the Soviet Union turned Russia he believed that they were absolutely evil empires as Reagan had said. (And he used to not like Reagan)
