You have to admit that for a Muslim country, Dubai knows how to do Christmas. I am sure the many foreigners working there plus the visitors appreciate it.

The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Fairmont The Palm too place on Dec 7 evening with choir, festive treats, a dedicated children activities' corner, as well as an appearance by Santa in the traditionally festive decorated lobby.

There are a number of festive events happening at Fairmont The Palm over the next few weeks -

Story Telling - Children are invited every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to join Santa Claus' storytelling at 5:30pm at SeaView Garden throughout December (Free).

Santa's Workshop at Falcons Kids Club - Christmas arts and crafts, Christmas games, face painting, video games and lots more. Available from Sunday December 20 – Wednesday December 23 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Suitable for kids 3+ years (prices start from Dh180 per child per day).

Christmas Fair - A two-hour fun event, where children can decorate gingerbread houses and enjoy Christmas arts & crafts, Christmas games and face painting. Thursday, December 24 from 1:30pm –3:30pm Suitable for kids 3+ years (Dh230 per child)
