Citigroup Inc (C.N) agreed to pay $100 million (75.3 million pounds) to settle charges by most U.S. states that it defrauded government and nonprofit entities by manipulating Libor, an interest rate benchmark that underlies a wide range of consumer transactions.

But yet people just don't get how money controls the powers, and the powers control the money. If the real truth about this came out they know they would be hammered beyond repair at least under the name CITI..

Taking deposits and lending out a portion, OUTRAGEOUS!!!
A portion my ass! They lend 30 times the deposits, creating money out of thin air.

They lend 30 times the deposits

When was the last time you failed an accounting class?

creating money out of thin air

Sorry, Citigroup doesn't have the ability to create money out of thin air.
If they could, why would they need to be bailed out?

Only a central bank can create money out of thin air.

it pisses me off that these assholes steal peoples money just as if they were armed robbers, but nothing ever happens to the perps. The stockholders take the hit, while the assholes who did the criminal activity get to continue cashing their bonus checks.
