Trump said their will be no cuts to SS.

Raising the retirement age is a cut. If the current FRA (Full Retirement Age) is raised from 67 to 70, then every person that falls under the newer higher age limits has benefits eliminated for the increased years.

Reduced benefits is by definition a cut.

SS Retirement is pretty straight forward, work 40 quarters and be a citizen. Now there are always going to be one off stories about a grandma that died and it didn't get reported so the kids cashed the checks. That is fraud and should be criminally prosecuted to the highest degree. But it's pretty rare in the grand scheme of things and can be further improved with improved reporting between State agency of vital records, the IRS, and the SSA.

Hey, anyone remember Ray from Cleveland? He would get on here all day and complain about his Section 8 neighbors being too minority for him, and living off the government. Then he admitted that at something like 58, he was on a liability because he couldn't drive a truck anymore due to back problems. Of course, nothing stopped him from being a limo driver or a customer service rep, but he was getting that sweet disability check and he knew it.
