Never now nor when I was those kid's age did I ever argue with or put my hands on a cop and I was a pretty wild youth. You respected the badge. You might ask questions or defend your actions, but you did not get angry/violent in their face shoving and pulling on hair.

For one thing, you probably would have gotten your ass kicked.

First it started in the home with parents losing authority, kids talking back, acting like equals being totally belligerent, and now we have teens beating up teachers as a result and fighting with police. And it is 'hands off' all the way with kids just getting worse and worse.

Just imagine what a world it will be with a whole generation of vain, under-achieving, morons running the world.
