Not a liberal out there is willing to admit that it was their IDEAS ON GOVERNMENT that were reject by the American people on Tuesday past. Their narcissism will not allow them to deal with this. Also, people do not like the politics of social warfare based on race and gender. Democrats are in shock and unable to come to grips with reality. The people reject you across the board. Now go away liberals... hug a tree in the backyard of a gay wedding if it makes you feel better.

I actualy want to see how many people voted.
Not very damn many.

Are there already numbers out there?

How high is the percentage of eligable voters who actualy went to vote?

What is the average age of these voters?

how many were urban and how many countryside?

All these factors are essential in any election.

A representative body that was elected by less than half of all elligable voters loses alot of it`s legitemacy.

And if only people above 45 and inbred rednecks voted, then the result is more due to democrats being frustrated with their own party.

Pffft... What's essential is the majority those who cared to vote, voted to kick democrats to the curb

All your phoney intellectual statistical vomit will change nothing.

What's around is ugly. Voting here, nah, there's a good show on TV: Actual election turnout far lower than reported Al Jazeera America

"phoney intellectual statistical vomit"

Whatever Cletus.

Now go read the future out of chicken bones, beat up your wife, worship your Timothy MCVeight shrine, or whatever it is you people do.

You get the government you deserve, when you choose to vote or not vote. Democrats stayed home, gave up on supporting a party that shafted them, or simply left the party. Republicans went out to vote, and won. Democrats are desperate when they try to argue this is 'voter fraud' or 'gerrymandering' in every state in the country.

Life moves on, if Democrats want change, maybe they should start by actually giving an alternative to voting Republican. Obviously abortion and appealing to feminists, is no longer sufficient to get their base voting.

If Democrats promised Single Payer, more Student Loan support, and to put more money into social security they would have probably at least got their base out to vote. But Democrats promised little beyond a photo op with Obama.

The low turnout was expected. Policy wouldn't have changed that.

It makes no difference HOW MANY people voted. Those that cared enough voted and sent GOP to Washington with a clear mandate.

Geez what an asshole.

Yeah, Dems are in total denial here. It was low voter turnout. It was big money in the campaigns (Kay Hagan spent more than anyone else and still lost). It was people unhappy the Democrats werent radical enough.
I love it. The more lies Dems tell themselves the less likely they are to win any more races.
They are exactly where the GOP was in 2006. SOundly rejected but unable to figure out why or what to do. Maybe Nancy Pelosi should call Denny Hastert for advice.

So I guess the Democrats' approach should be, if fair is fair, to use every tool of obstruction the minority in the legislature has available,

since that is what the GOP did after the Democrats got a genuine mandate in the 2008 elections.

Fair enough?

You mean like altering Senate rules on confirmation of federal judges?
