If they see trump winning the election and see legions of his supporters you'd think at some point they would say "maybe we need to do what trump is doing".

I mean you see someone winning and is a favorite among the people can you really do the exact opposite and think you'll do better?

Maybe they would have a better chance of winning if they stood for America and Americans. If they pushed American values, morals and standards. If they wanted a safe and secure nation. If they pushed for real equality and held up the best and brightest. If they didn't want illegals. If they stood for punishing criminals and dopeheads. If they believed in traditional family. If they fostered people to be strong, intelligent, ambitious, responsible and willfull. And all of these other things trump wants then maybe they would be on the fast track to winning.

If two people are in a contest and the question posed is "what is 2 + 2 equal" and one person says 4, the other person can't think "they said 4 so I'm going to win by saying 2" and expect to win by giving the wrong answer just because the other person gave the right one.
