The Tennessee officer never was told by homeland security or FBI or whomever Trumpers are lying about in the Biden admin, to not arrest him.... No one at homeland security was spoken to the night of the stop incident for speeding. It was 5 days later that a human in homeland security even looked at the automated, computer generated form.

I'm more inclined to believe the DHS over some pundits or leftists, however.

The DHS report shown as the fake news outlets sourcing....was an automated report that Homeland security receives from all local and state law enforcement agencies when the local agency creates a case number..... (That is news to me btw....I had no idea homeland security was getting such info, automatically from every police dept in all the states!!!). The HSI (homeland security investigation) report is a pdf, and I have no idea how to copy a PDF document and paste it here....

No one from law enforcement during the incident and stop, called homeland security or the FBI to ask them what to do. This officer made all the decisions he made with that stop/incident...including the decision to not charge him with speeding and giving him just a warning for driving on an expired license.
