"In a stunning admission before a House Committee panel on Tuesday, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson admitted that the Obama Administration has been artificially inflating deportation numbers. While the administration has claimed a "record number" of deportations, earning Pres. Obama the nickname "Deporter in Chief", Johnson admitted that they have been counting border apprehensions that are turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers as deportations."

This administration has been playing with fire by altering reported numbers to make themselves look good. They altered the unemployment rate ahead of the election precisely for that reason.
The problem is that once you are caught lying on one number, every other number you give out becomes suspect. Since US Gov't Debt is traded on the basis of those numbers, what does anyone expect the effect to be?

If other administrations have not counted the same kind of deportations in the same manner, what some are failing to see, is the 'admission' is a boon for Obama. Why? Because of all the flack he has been taking from rights groups and those who want to see changes in our immigration policy.

The right can no longer 'flaunt' that Obama has the highest rate of deportations to gain the immigrant vote. Now, it can be claimed that he does not have the highest rate of deportation. Its a win-win for Obama with those groups that the right wished to pander to in with Obama's deportation numbers.

Have they been counted the same way under past administrations?

Try reading the article dip, it actually addresses that, but I wouldn't want to spoil it for ya.

Makes no sense. Why would the Obama Administration deliberately try alienate the Latino voters? :eusa_eh:

I'm very sure all the commies that have been pushing this lie will be flocking to this thread to apologize for being accomplices to this incorrect propaganda. Here they come in 3----2---------

So they artificially inflated the numbers so that later, when that inflation came out, they would look like heroes for not deporting as many people.
Seriously?

Nah, that is not what I meant. If this has not been the same with past administrations and this is some new way of counting, this 'admission' can be a boon for Obama. He can no longer be referred to as the president with the highest record of deportation and it will appeal to his base.

We have got to hurry up and realize there is NOTHING The Obama would not sink so low to do to get his way.

Dictatorial powers over a weakened America.

On the way to Global Rulership?

How is that a boon?
Again, they inflated the numbers. You've got to figure they had some kind of advantage in mind by doing that. What was that?

Inflated? No. They outright lied. How many lies does that make now?

The left has used these inflated numbers when the mulatto messiah is accused of not following immigration laws. The right always knew the propaganda was crap, and I notice the left is avoiding this thread in droves. Hypocrite cowards.
