DHS Secretary: Illegals ‘Victimized’ by Employers Who Pay Them ‘Slave Wages’
"Illegal migrants are “victimized” by American agricultural and restaurant employers who hire and pay them “slave wages under the table,” declared U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary John Kelly on Thursday.
The overwhelming number of people that come are good, decent people looking for a better way to make a living. The issue is though in many cases there’s also, and it pains me to say this as an American, they’re victimized when they get here by a system that doesn’t pay them enough money."
1. "The overwhelming number of people that come are good, decent people..."
- They are technically, for all intents and purposes, 'criminals' who broke US law to come here.
2. "...they’re victimized when they get here by a system that doesn’t pay them enough money."
- They are not supposed to be paid ANYTHING because they are not supposed to have a job. It is against the law to hire illegals. They are fortunate the US government has not / is not cracking down and enforcing US law, preventing them from having jobs.
3. ""Illegal migrants are “victimized” by American agricultural and restaurant employers who hire and pay them “slave wages..."
- The solution is to find out who they are and 'hammer the crap' out of them for breaking the law.
It's not 'rocket science'...but it calls for hard choices: Which laws are you going to enforce and which laws are you going to continue to ignore? Are you going to continue to allow illegals to come into the country, to hold jobs, for American businesses to hire illegals, and are you going to force American companies to pay illegals 'fair wages' when the illegals aren't even supposed to working / the businesses aren't supposed to be hiring them?
