God is dead. Always has been, but Jesus Christ most certainly was an early convert to communism.1 Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.
2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?

He meant for us to be generous with our stuff. Very generous. Not with the stuff that belongs to other folks.

1) ...god paid for it or made it. He did not steal it from others. He is sorta against stealing.
2) ...he is talking about your sole and not your pocketbook
But god did mean us to be commies.... lock step and do not questions.

I doubt He'd consider taxation as "stealing."
I also don't recall where he frowned on questions.
I did not know that. Interesting. There's also the ancient Jewish tradition of the Jubilee to consider.
See, our ancient pre-civilized ancestors lived in communist societies. Not socialist ('cause they had no government), but communist, as in Marx's last stage of social evolution, from-each-according-to-his-ability-to-each-according-to-his-needs, all capital property held in common, that kind of communist.
When our ancestors settled down in farming or pastoral communities, that changed and we began private ownership of land -- but it wasn't an easy change and many early societies resisted it. That includes the ancient Hebrews.
The Jubilee was something that was done once every 50 years. Over the course of those 50 years, land could be bought and sold by people, but on the Jubilee it was all divided into equal lots by family again. And this, like all other Jewish laws, was supposedly given by God.
It's in Leviticus chapter 25. Look it up.![]()

Same laws that were handed down at the time allowed slaves. Dunno how communistic or socialist that is.
But every so often they were freed. I can't remember if it was only on the Jubilee, or at other times as well.

I guess it would depend on what qualified you as being capable of being enslaved and I do not know the answer to that. I also don't actually know if God approved of slavery. The scripture on it seems to be capable of a pretty loose interpretation.
It sounds like Heaven is a pretty socialistic place. No angles floating around proclaiming that greed is good.1 Come, all you who are thirsty,

This thread is a picture of the idiots mind trying to prove what Jesus wanted when they spend their time denying him.
