32,000 voters so far. Movie came out friday. IMDB is very woke and they doctor the ratings to make woke movies look more popular than they really are so this is stunning. Gross so far is a measly $16 million.

It cost 250mil to make, not including promotion and distribution fees. This is the kind of money that breaks studios. Disney has money from different venues that will make sure the company doesn't get too hurt. It should definitely sink Rachel Zegler's career though.

Has any of you actually seen the movie? I am sure it is bad, even if the score on IMDB is skewed by trigered right-wingers it is generally a very good indication of how good or bad a movie is.

Rachel Zegler was a very bad choice to play Snow White, for one thing she looked ridiculous.

Yeah, I don’t get it. She looks as much like a live action version of the character as anyone can reasonably expect.

As for the dwarves, I do get why the little people are upset about them being CGI. It’s kind of like saying dwarves are fantastical creatures that have to be computer generated in a live action movie. It’s literally dehumanizing.

But I don’t see how any of that is “woke”.

Dwarves aren't human midgets. They are supernatural beings from ancient German and Norse mythology.

Personally, I think they did a great job with the CGI. Especially the furry woodland creatures. The kids loved it. But they did notice the plot changes.
