Tokyo-based translator Chikako Tsuruta told the Japan Times that translating the president into Japanese is a challenge, what with the lack of logic or concern for facts.

“[Trump] rarely speaks logically, and he only emphasizes one side of things as if it were the absolute truth,” Tsuruta said. “There are lots of moments when I suspected his assertions were factually dubious.”

Although this is an extremely alarming number, its effect is not going to be felt all at once. The impact will be rippled over the course of 10 years. While this is not as bad as experiencing the multi-billion dollar cut in one wave, if spread evenly over the course of 10 years, that still leaves the medicaid program with $80 billion less funding per year.

The Congressional Budget Office predicted that, under the proposed GOP health care bill, the federal government will cut its more than 60 percent share of the Medicaid funding by 25 percent, while 14 million enrollees will lose coverage. Both of these projections are for the year 2026.

A new poll from the Pew Research Center has found that Donald Trump's presidency is strongly and negatively impacting how the rest of the world views the United States.

At the end of Barack Obama's term, 64 percent of global respondents said they were confident in the U.S. president, compared to 22 percent now. Seventy-four percent of those surveyed said they have no confidence in Trump.

Compared to the final years of Obama's presidency, Trump received higher ratings in just two of the 37 countries surveyed – Russia and Israel.
