Donald Trump's progress report 4/21/2025

I already said if you list the things you don't like then that is the list I do like. Other than being his normal obnoxious name calling bullying self, I like pretty much everything he's done. It's about time we had an asshole for president who doesn't let the world push us around and use us for their own personal piggy bank. I don't care if he's an asshole. If you want to ask me about particular things then go ahead but, more than likely, everything you don't like, I like. This is not rocket science.
I don't like:
The largest stock market decline in the month of April since 1932.
Treasury bills interest rate are increasing like we have not seen in recent years. That means when the US borrows money, they have pay more interest. I should say we all pay more interest when the US borrows money
The deterioration of the dollar's international status is sharply raising US borrowing costs, while offering China a much easier path to internationalising its own currency.
Trump's 'big beautiful bill" increases the debt ceiling and increases the US debt by trillions of dollars.
Nations of the world are looking for better trading partners than the USA, hurting US exports and imports.
Inflation strongly predicted.
Consumer confidence is down substantially. Consumer spending drops when consumer confidence is down.

The only people who like this are our enemies and you.

Wrong, trump is trying to make it an even playing field, the only way forward other than free trade.
You have no clue what a free market is. A free market does not include tariffs. Trump wants to close the US market to create more jobs in the USA but will end up with more exppensive goods. Closing an economy is the opposite of a free market.
You don't know what you don't know.

So, the only things you don't like about Trump are regarding money? You're fine with everything else?

Donald Trump's progress report 4/21/2025.
The DOW drops a 1000 points and the dollar continues to decline.
Pete Hegseth is using social media to tell his relatives of classified plans concerning attacking the Houthi's
RFK jr gives speech describing the effects of autism that showed he does not know how autism effects most people
The Ukraine war continues on
Isreal-Gaza fighting continues
Consumer confidence at a 4 year low
Good news - retail sales up substantially. The reason is the Amaerican consumer is anticipating inflation and lack of goods in the future as a result of tariffs.

I'd add the near collapse of the single most important security on the planet, the American Treasury Bond. It's still on thin ice, liquidity is not good, and countries around the world are considering (a) selling them, which could cripple us with the corresponding increase in interest rates, and (b) moving even more assets out of our markets (Europe stocks have done very well since "Liberation Day").

Whenever talking about Trump you can never seriously talk in terms of progress, only in terms of digress.

It's not how much of America he's built up, but how much of America he's destroyed and we'd have to build back better.

Orange bag O' shit fake *pResident is shitty. Film at 11.

There’s no way to spin a 20% drop in the Nasdaq as a good thing.

The best you can do is hide under the covers.

With what?

Trump's stewardship of the economy has been trash. The financial markets are in turmoil because of that idiot. Trump is erratic, inept and can't help but rattle the market with his dumbshit tweets. MAGAs will be praising Trump no matter what the hell he does to this country.

True.

Unfortunately, the only ‘progress’ Trump makes is harming America.

We are probably in a recession right now. What will your excuse be?

And this is a progress report, right?

Here's your progress: $11 trillion has been wiped out. Don't even try to pass that off as insignificant, cult boi.

Here's your progress report right here:

You forgot to mention he is a champion of free speech, lol. Nope, only selective speech as he and the far right have become woke and wants to censor campus protests. Only 3 months and the right has become woke not only what I mentioned but they love Tesla's. But I believe some of them on this board have been woke for many years as they google constantly about tranny's.

One of the woke disagreed.

The real woke has risen. lol

Basically.

And NOW some FACTS.....you love facts, right?

Want a visual graph or summary table for this?

How do you figure that? Can you do any more than string a few words together and present it as truth?

I see tat you don't want to talk about Trump. Understandable.

You are right, if we are going to eliminate the debt.
China has warned the United States that it 'should stop whining about being a victim in global trade' in its latest swipe at Donald Trump's tariffs. 'The problem is the US has been living beyond its means for decades.

China is right. All of us.

47 was gifted a great economy that was the envy of the world and in just three months he has totally fucked it up.

I think a 6th grader could do better with the economy.
You are a spineless, Trump lackey that will justify any bad thing he does. Are you not embarrasses for being one of Trump's bitches. How humilitating
And your plan=what, Brainiac? :itsok:
I know what he's doing and support it.
I've been on about this for a decade.
Yeah, you have no plan to make things better for Americans.
You fuck right the hell off, k?

Is this ^^^ the best you got.
#1, the tariff plan has been proven through history as a failure.
It's gonna fail again, until trump changes the plan, and you dimwits suggest that that was the plan all along.

Yet your LOVE for trump won't allow you to criticize the plan, and you will stick with ANY fake narrative.

It's you that's pathetic, dude.

Tell me about the non-monetary issues he is doing well with..
LOL. Now we are back to you saying he sucks with them while I love them. Of course his policies make the left melt down. It's only natural, if you hate something, I love it and the rest of the right loves it too.

The first thing I would not do, is ignore the main tenets of our constitution, the seperation of powers. The tenets have kept the USA a democratic republic for 250 years. Any President who ignores the tenets to strengthen their power and turning the US into an autocracy is treasonous, no matter wht changes they make with the power.
I would listen to the economic experts on how to best balance the trade deficit and not throw the world into a recession. I would not put a nut case in charge of health and human services. I would not put an incompetent person as defence secretary throwing the pentagon into chaos and disrespecting many of our great members of the armed services. I would not use my power to settle personal vendettas rather than the issues of the country.
But what do you expect from a person who has 5 kids from 3 wives, many publicized affairs, brags about grabbing women by the pussy, has a private college that is closed for fraud and forced to refund 25 million dollars in fees, has their charity closed because the majority of the funds were going to that individual not charities.

LOL. Now we are back to you saying he sucks with them while I love them. Of course his policies make the left melt down. It's only natural, if you hate something, I love it and the rest of the right loves it too.
You are providing no specifics.. I cannot believe you are so incompetent that you cannot provide some specifics. I could provide some specifics. Educate yourself.

Tariffs will even the playing field

Specifics aren’t needed. If you melt down over something Trump does then I love it. This is not rocket science. Pick any specific you want.

I continue to give you a chance but I must take Mark Twain's advice.
Mark Twain said, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience".

That is what socialism is. It evens the playing field for all people, or it is suppose to. It never does.
Free market let's open competition determine the winner. That would be no tariffs, not a tit for tat tariff war.
Do you get the tariffs other countries have levelled against to US since WWII? Yeah, OK, we were the only man standing after the war, but that was 80 years ago.

Stupid people can't seem to understand that if they are on the left and I am on the right, whatever turns their stomach, makes me happy. But, I invite you to list something specific Trump has done one at a time that doesn't have to do with money (which you have already posted several of) and I'll tell you my opinion on that one specific thing. But this seems like such a stupid game because I have already said that whatever makes you melt down, I like. I invite you to challenge me to see if that analysis isn't correct.
